With the XML-based news service you get:

• Headlines and articles appear on  your site, making this a sticky feature that won't result in your traffic leaving.
• Control over the display format to show your choice of headlines, dates and short article introductions.
• Apply your own style sheet or control the display format with XSL sheets. This allows you to control the inclusion, format and positioning of elements like the headline, dates, introductions and article content.
• Set your subject and country preferences so that your feed only displays articles which are relevant to your site audience.
• Assistance with setting up and starting the newsfeed service on your website

 Additional Technical Information

You are welcome to customise the feed output as you require. You can choose between two main display formats, each of which can be shown with or without the date.

• Headlines Only. We provide you with a piece of code that will displays the headlines on your site. You can set this to show all the headlines or restrict it to a specific number. Headlines can be archived up to a maximum of 20 working days.
• Headlines & Teasers. This is as above, except that the initial list of headlines is shown along with dates and short article introductions.

With both options, the articles are displayed on your site, without the user ever having to leave. We provide you with another piece of code that is loaded in a 'template' page on your website server, in which all stories are shown.

Please note that some countries and subjects feature much more frequently than others, please see our news archive to get an idea of the full news subject content.
